‘Through Change We Grow’
Last year, we were honoured to welcome the one and only Mother of the Nation, Judy Bailey, to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. Judy spent the morning with our residents, guests, and staff, reflecting on her remarkable career as one of New Zealand’s most trusted newsreaders and sharing insights from her inspiring life after television.
Judy doesn’t believe in the word retirement. Instead, she invites us to think of this stage of life as one of evolving — a time that can be uplifting, meaningful, and full of opportunity. Her reflections struck a genuine chord with everyone present.
The event was held at The Avenue Apartments, our newest addition to Remuera Gardens — featuring 61 modern apartments with spacious interiors and enviable outlooks across Remuera.
