Well designed homes and apartments provide residents with a high degree of privacy, as well as a sunny patio or balcony opening to well-maintained gardens. Dwellings and buildings are linked by flat and well-lit walkways for foot traffic.
At Remuera Gardens you can make the most of a range of recreational options, including a 45-seat tiered cinema. Our residents are actively encouraged to maintain their independence. In fact, the support services available on request make it possible to live independently for longer.
Here you'll find a strong family atmosphere where our management team and friendly staff like to know everyone by name, and the small and personal community will make you feel welcome and safe.

Tai chi at Remuera Gardens20 July 2021Tai chi is the most popular exercise at Remuera Gardens, with classes running four times per week. The residents love practicing the gentle movements of this ancient Chinese practice that embodies mind, body, and spirit. Their experienced teacher, Joe, guides them through several sequences of exercises, most of them can be done sitting in a chair. He keeps reminding them that “tai chi is not about muscle strength, but mind strength”.
Manukau Symphony Orchestra concert13 July 2021
Manukau Symphony Orchestra concertRemuera Gardens has a very enthusiastic Theatre Group that goes out at least once a month to see plays, musicals, concerts, or ballet. At the beginning of July, they attended a concert by the Manukau Symphony Orchestra, and they were all very impressed with Auckland-born pianist Henry Wong Doe.
