Luxurious Personalized Care

Discover our new friendly, personalised care suites designed for your comfort and convenience!

These warm, secure and beautifully furnished care suites are comfortable, cosy and easy to live in. There are just 16 in total, with stage one now complete and the final rooms of stage two due for completion by the end of 2024. We have 3 generously sized suites available, each between 30 and 40sqm and providing full medical and nursing care around the clock. You can regularly receive personal, prioritised medical attention from familiar faces - in the privacy of your very own home.

The benefits of these specialist care suites start with the attention to detail designed into each unit. You will enjoy the warmth of double glazed windows, heat pump and luxurious carpet throughout.

Each bedroom has a special, fully adjustable hospital bed, floor to ceiling windows for lovely tree and garden views, a massive walk-in wardrobe and most have access to the balcony – ideal for the summer.

The ensuite is large, purpose built with level entry from your bedroom with underfloor heating, towel warmer and lots of space if a little assistance is required.

Your lounge and dining area has a small kitchenette including a fridge, essential appliances, a two seater table unit plus a side cabinet. There’s a flat screen 40” TV and a wonderfully comfy, adjustable lounger-style recliner chair that can be wheeled from room to room if required.

A large TV room is a short walk down the hall and a sunny and social breakfast room is around the corner with kitchen facilities that can be shared. This room is flooded with sun and warmth in the morning - a favourite social gathering spot to catch up with family, friends and neighbours.

You don’t have to worry about bills and expenses because almost everything you might need is already included in your weekly fee:

  • Nursing, doctor and medical prescriptions
  • Staff and carers on-site, 24/7
  • Food, power, water and laundry
  • Help and support for showering and dressing if required
  • Internet, phone, electricity, heating
  • Activities, events and bus trips

This is all provided at the standard gazette rate – there are no premium charges added.

Your new home will be exactly that – a space that feels truly your own. This is a brand new facility – completely rebuilt from the formally known and respected Kensington House. It will be your space – so you’ll be most welcome to bring your precious keepsakes, pictures and furniture to personalise the style and ambience of your home.

At our Real Living villages, we embrace the spirit of the season by creating happy moments for all, with fun cornhole competitions, themed crafts, and beautifully homemade treats. Of course, no Easter would be complete without a visit from our resident Easter Bunny, who makes sure there’s a little chocolate for everyone.

Movement and Mindfulness

At Real Living, we are always exploring new ways to improve the well-being of our residents and staff. One of our latest initiatives, the Holistic Dance Exercise Programme (HDEP), is an innovative, evidence-based project developed by our Group Culture, Care, and Quality Manager, Reign Marcial. Rooted in academic research and inspired by established practices from the Alzheimer’s Society in the UK, this programme integrates movement, meditation, and structured exercise to support cognitive function, balance, and fall prevention among older adults.
